Carley has changed the way I think about food and nutrition and has helped me find balance! I began my “wellness journey” about a year ago and have lost about 90lbs through changing my nutrition and incorporating exercise into my routine. It wasn’t until I met Carley that I truly understood just how linked my poor nutrition was to how I felt on a daily basis. I met with Carley to go over my eating habits, my lifestyle, and a bit of a medical history so she could understand me better. Carley provided me with a personalized nutrition plan that provided me with creative meal ideas to try. It was a totally “doable” plan - it was delicious, easy, and didn't require me to count calories or stress over macros.

After adjusting my nutrition with Carley’s plan I saw changes in both my physical and mental health. Physically, I saw increased energy and motivation, I slept better, lost weight in sustainable amounts, and perhaps the best outcome; the eczema I had struggled with my entire life drastically improved! I have completly stopped using the steroid creams I previously used to battle my eczema. Mentally, I saw an attitude shift around food - though it is still a work in progress, I have learned that guilt and anxiety around food, which previously led to a vicious cycle of restricting and binging, is not productive; instead I have adopted the 80/20 rule around food and eliminated “food guilt”.

Before I go into detail, I just want to say that Carley is the best nutritionist there is. Before even getting started on the meal plan, Carley took time to understand who I was, so she could build a plan catered to me. I was on the 8-week program, where I got a new meal plan every 2 weeks. At the start of the program, I was 184 pounds and by the end of the 8 weeks I was 169 pounds. The meals Carley planned for me were delicious and incredibly filling and not to mention were never too hard to prep. I did not do anything irregular from my day-to-day activities prior to this plan, however, just having a solid meal plan made the 15-pound decrease. If you’re looking to drop those extra pounds, Carley is the perfect person to go to.
